PROCEDURES
All field work was performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites Soil-
vapor extraction and in-situ air sparging monitoring were preformed in accordance with procedures
outlined in the Revised Remedial Action Work Plan Addendum and Remedial Action Work Plan,
prepared by AGE and approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
(EHD)by letter, dated 21 April 2000
2 1 SOIL-VAPOR/[N-SITU AIR SPARGING
' A soil vapor extraction/in-situ an sparging system (SVE/IAS) has been in operation since
December 2000 The system was monitored monthly during operation and after re-start events
During each monitoring event, the SVE flow rate, vacuum (potential) and concentrations of
' hydrocarbons in the extracted soil-vapor were measured and a set of soil-vapor samples were
collected by AGE personnel In addition, the dissolved oxygen in the ground water wells was
' measured to monitor the efficiency of the IAS system.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,inc
1
