The Department would encourage ShiWS to incorporate a flow meter on the well. It can be a <br /> useful tool in the overall water-monitoring program. It is a helpful tool to determine periods of <br /> high demands that are acceptable and non-acceptable (leak detection). <br /> 2. The Department strongly encourages SMWS to secure the well site with fencing in a manner that <br /> will provide staff's access for maintenance and operation. <br /> Upon EHD approval of new Well#2 source the destruction of old Well#1 maybe proceed under permit a - <br /> and inspection by EHD. The casing of Well rl shall be filled with 6-sack cement or greater.to three feet <br /> below grade.
