BACTERIOLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL MONITORING <br /> REQUIREMENTS for TNC CURRFL <br /> WATER SYSTEMS <br /> An EHD permitted Food Facility that does not serve water to customers <br /> (4616) <br /> SECONDARY (AESTHETICS): Bicarbonate, carbonate, and hydroxide <br /> alkalinity, calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, pH, sodium, and total <br /> hardness are due at least once (California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22, <br /> Section 64449). <br /> INORGANIC CHEMICALS: Fluoride is due at least once (CCR, Title 22, <br /> Section 64432 (m)(1)). <br /> --� NITRATES: Required annually (CCR, Title 22, Section 64432 (a)). <br /> —� NITRITES: Required once every three years (CCR, Title 22, Section 64432 <br /> (a)). <br /> BACTERIOLOGICAL: * Required quarterly (CCR, Title 22, Section 64421, <br /> 64423 (a)). After a positive result, two repeats (one from the site that failed <br /> and one from the well) must be collected within 24 hours of being notified of <br /> the positive result, and a routine sample shall be collected the following month. <br /> Please be aware that bacteriological results collected for a system in a calendar <br /> month shall be reported to the Department no later than the„tenthth dayo <br /> following. <br /> * BACTERIOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS for a NEW WELL: Collect two <br /> samples at least seven days apart with a chlorine residual of<0.05 ppm must be <br /> collected from the sample tap installed on the well side of the wellhead check <br /> valve. The samples shall be collected with in 30 days of placing the well into <br /> service. <br />
