Highway 99, Stockton,CA
- ` DearlVlrWong-- _.
I am writing regarding the Revised Workplan for Groundwater Pump Test, which was submitted to EHD
by Ground Zero on December 6, 2004. The revised workplan was based upon a project meeting attended
by Ground Zero staff, EHD staff, and the responsible parties on November 30, 2004, as well as a
technical evaluation conducted by Ground Zero staff.
3
In subsequent telephone conversations, Ground Zero discussed details of the workplan with Regional
Board and EHD staff. Ground Zero discussed with Regional Board staff the potential volume of water
that would be discharged to the undeveloped portion of the site. EHD staff suggested in a subsequent
telephone conversation that a pumping test may not be necessary to establish communication between the
C Zone aquifer and the deeper aquifer tapped by the water supply well. These issues have not been
resolved and Ground Zero is unclear on the agencies' requirements for the groundwater pumping
test/aquifer evaluation.
Please respond in writing at your earliest convenience with your comments on the December 6, 2004
workplan. Feel free to call meat(209) 838=9888 if you have any questions regarding this submittal.
Respectfully,
-.Ground Zera.-A-naiysis,-hic. -
John P.
