(Ground Zero) requesting closure of Speedy Foods located at 8200 <br /> North Highway 99 in Stockton, California (Site). Ground Zero has prepared the Groundwater <br /> Monitoring Well Destruction & Site Restoration Report to document the final activities performed <br /> for closure. <br /> The destruction of the extraction and groundwater monitoring wells occurred in two phases: The <br /> first phase of the well destruction activities was conducted in accordance with Ground Zero's <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Well Destruction Workplan dated June 9, 2010, which was approved by <br /> EHD in correspondence dated June'15, 2010. The second phase of well destruction activities were <br /> conducted in accordance with Ground Zero's Well Destruction & Site Restoration Workplan dated <br /> September 24, 2010, which was approved by EHD in correspondence dated September 2$, 2010. <br /> The location of the site is shown on Figure 1. <br /> SITE ACTIVITIES <br /> i <br /> At the request of EHD all extraction and groundwater monitoring wells were destroyed. Wells <br /> MW5, MW7, MW8, MW10, MW11, MW14B, MW17B, MW18C, MW19D and EW2 were <br /> destroyed on July 15 and 16, 2010, by pressure grouting with neat cement grout. Wells MW4, <br /> MW6, MW9B, MW12, MW13C, MW15, MW16 and VW2 were destroyed by pressure grouting j <br /> with neat cement grout while wells EW1 (formerly MW1), MW3, EW3 and VW1 were <br /> destroyed by over-drilling on October 4 through 7, 2010.
