Hwy 99 Frontage Rd., Stockton;,CA <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) has reviewed the analytical <br /> results of the soil samples taken from beneath the underground storage tank(s) that were <br /> removed from the above subject site on August 6, 2009 and the excavation and resampling that <br /> occurred on September 23, 2009. <br /> This letter confirms the completion of the tank removal investigation for the underground storage <br /> tanks #390518676, #390518677, #390518678 and #390518679. With the provision that the <br /> information provided to this agency was accurate-rand representative of existing conditions, it is <br /> our position that no further action is required at this time. <br /> Please be advised that this letter does not relieve you of any liability under the California Health <br /> and Safety Code or Water Code for past, present, or future operations at the site. Nor does it <br /> relieve you of the responsibility to clean up existing, additional or previously unidentified <br /> conditions at the site which cause or threaten to cause pollution or nuisance or otherwise pose a <br /> threat to water quality or.public health. <br /> Additionally, be advised that changes in the present or proposed use of the site may require <br /> further site characterization and mitigation activity.
