Failed to maintain spill control equipment. A secondary containment used for the storage of used oil <br /> and used antifreeze drum iE half filled with dark oily liquid. Spill control equipment must be kept emptied <br /> to use in case of emergency. Spill control equipment purpose is to catch any unintentional release of <br /> substances but not to store the waste. All facility communications and alarm systems, fire protection <br /> equipment, and decontami ation equipment, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its <br /> proper operation in time of mergency. Immediately maintain the secondary containment empty to assure <br /> it proper function is available in time of emergency and to ensure that the hazardous waste drums <br /> structural integrity itself is not compromised. <br /> 605. Failed to completely la" el containers of hazardous waste. A 55 gallon poly white drum of used <br /> antifreeze contains a hazar ous waste label and most of its required information except the drum does <br /> not identify the contents of t e drum.
