Prior <br /> to beginning the Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund (USTCF) pre-approval process I <br /> would like some clarification on comment number 2: In addition,we provide a modification of <br /> an operating procedure as a response to comment number 3. ` <br /> Comment number 2'states "Responsible Party must.secure three bids for all scopes of work and . <br /> seek cost pre-approval by USTCF/SWRCB." Please'specify what needs to be put out for three <br /> bids for this scope of work. <br /> Comment number 3'`states that monitoring well purge water cannot be disposed of in the on-site <br /> evaporative pond. We understand your concerns regarding disposal of untreated'purge water, <br /> therefore,Brown and Caldwell proposes to treat the purge water with a mobile granular activated <br /> carbon (GAC) unit prior to disposal into the on-site evaporative pond. <br /> We would appreciate;a prompt response so ewe can m6ve forward in a timely matter in <br /> submitting these documents to the USTCF for.pre-approval.
