In
summary, the results of the AS/SVE pilot test indicated that AS/SVE technology
appeared to be effective in removing volatile organic compound (VOC) mass from
soil and groundwater. Therefore, a design for a full-scale AS/SVE remedial action
was recommended to be completed and submitted to San Joaquin County
Environmental Health.
As we discussed by phone on February 5, 2007,we are forwarding a hard copy of
the full-scale AS/SVE Remediation System Design for your review. While an
electronic copy of the design drawings will be uploaded to GeoTracker, there is a
significant delay before documents are available for viewing or downloading from
the website. T&T Trucking is interested in beginning construction of the fuIl-scale
remediation system in Spring 2007 to expedite remediation and ultimate closure of
the site before the State Fund sunset date of January 1, 2011. We would
appreciate your review and approval of this approach so remediation may begin
without delay.
P:\31000\131593-']'&'] Trucking AS-SVE llesi,m\Corrcspondencc\7'ransmittal J to Final Plans to]nfurna.doc
Environmental Engine ers & ConsmItants
