WORKPLAN ADDENDUM_
T & T TRUCKING
August 7, 1995
WKA No. 3001.01
Page 2
I
The excavated contaminated soils will be stockpiled in the rear of the site on plastic and covered
with plastic. -One composite sample consisting of four brass tubes for every
50 cubic yards of
stockpiled contaminated soil will be collected by excavating one to two feet below the surface of
the stockpile and driving clean, two-inch diameter, six-inch long brass tubes into the soil using a
rubber mallet. The samples will be sealed and submitted to a California-certified laboratory as
previously described and tested for TPH as gasoline and BTEX.
Upon completion of excavation activities and approval from San Joaquin County, the upper eight
feet of clean overburden soil removed during excavation wackfilled into the existing
excavation, along with additional clean fill material and uniform) compacted to at least 90%
_ Y
relative compaction as referenced to ASTM D1557.
Subsequent to field investigation, the data generated will be evaluated and a report prepared that
will include:
' a site plan showing sample locations and extent of excavation
P P
• description of soils encountered during excavation using the Unified Soils
Classification System
• laboratory test results with chain-of-custody documents
• conclusions regarding the nature of soil contamination
The field investigation will begin within two weeks from the time San Joaquin County approves
this workplan. The report of findings will be completed within three to four weeks from the time
the field work is 'completed.
Wallace Kuhl & Associates, Inc. -
Richard Premzic
Registered Geologist #5586
RP:sdm
Attachments
RW3001.0F.,pl
WALLACE•KUHL
Recycled paper S AssocimEs INC.
3
z
