If additional over excavation is required by PHS/EHD, appropriate M
permits will be obtained. A backhoe will be brought back on site to remove impacted soil
under the direction of PHS/EHD. Additional samples will be collected within the
excavation under the same protocols as described in Exhibit C. Excavated material will be
segregated from the existed two stockpiles and sampled accordingly.
M
A Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP), dated January 8, 1998, has been prepared for this site
and will be followed and retained on-site during the field work performed by BC.
Project Schedule
Itis anticipated the fieldwork will be completed in approximately one to two weeks. This
schedule is contingent upon review time of analytical results by PHS/EHD, PHS/EHD
availability, equipment availability, and any additional over excavation events.
x
A summary report in letter form will be submitted to PHS/EHD approximately six weeks
after the field work is complete. The report will include a description of field methods,
results of laboratory analysis of soil, and conclusions.
If you have questions or comments, please call me at (916) 444-0123:
Sincerely,
BROWN AND CALDWELL
Tina M.
