Bating,drinking,chewing gum or tobacco, smoking, or any practice that increases <br /> the probability of hand to mouth transfer and ingestion of materials is prohibited in <br /> any area.where the posaibilrty of contamination exists. <br /> 2. Hands must be thoroughly washed when leaving a contaminated, or suspected <br /> conte ninuted area before eating,d=ialling,or any other activities. <br /> 3. Contan*aced protective equipment shall not be removed from the regulated area <br /> until it has been properly cantaineriaed on site. <br /> 4, Removal of makrials from pmtcetive clothing or equipment by Rowing, shaking, <br /> or any means which may disperse materials into the air is prohibited. <br /> 5. PCesonnol on site must use the "buddy" system when wearing any respftutwy <br /> protective devices. Cotnmunications between metubers must be mainadned at an <br /> times. EtnmSency cUmrnunications shall be prearranged in case unexpected <br /> situations arise. Visual. contact must be memint%ined between "pairs-' on site, and <br /> each team member should remain close enough to assist each other in the event of <br /> an emergency. <br /> 6. Personnel should be cautioned to inform each other of subjective symptnnas of <br /> chernkW exposure such as headache, dizzying, nausea, and initation of the <br /> respiratory brut. <br /> 7. No excessive facial hair which intrYfotes with a satisfactory fit of the <br /> fac"iece-to-face seal wM be allowed on personnel required to wear respiratory <br /> protective equipment(NIOSH). <br /> S.
