' FINAL REMEDIA710N PLAN <br /> 14800 West Frontage Road Manteca California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />' This report documents results of sal vent and aquifer testing conducted by Aegis <br /> Environmental, Inc (Aegis), and describes the selected design for a remediation system <br />' to be installed at 14800 West Frontage Road in Manteca, California (Figure 1) The <br /> aquifer testing was completed in July 1991 and the soil vent test was completed in <br /> October 1992 The site is currently occupied by Frank's Exxon #4, an operating gasoline <br /> station This report is based, in part, on information obtained by Aegis from Moore <br /> Petroleum, Inc , of Manteca, California, Nations Groundwater Associates (NGA) of <br /> Sacramento, California, Earth Treatment Systems (ETS) of Merced, California, and Delta <br />' Environmental Consultants, Inc (Delta), of Rancho Cordova, California This report is <br /> subject to modification as newly acquired information may warrant <br /> 1 1 Pur.pose <br /> The selection of the final remediation system is based on assessment of existing soil and <br />' hydrogeologc conditions and analysis of test data in defining system design parameters <br /> for the remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater at the site <br />' 12 Scope <br /> The scope of work completed to date is outlined below The methods used in the <br /> assessment and a more detailed discussion of the work completed are included in <br /> subsequent sections <br /> rData regarding the subsurface soil and hydrogeologic conditions, including <br /> soil classification and analysis of soils for petroleum hydrocarbons collected <br /> by previous consultants and from a site investigation by Aegis, were reviewed <br /> and summarized <br /> • Aquifer analysis ("rising head") tests were performed <br /> • Soil vapor extraction plot tests were performed <br /> • The test data was evaluated <br /> • This final remediation plan was prepared <br /> 90-097A FRP 1 <br />
