Mr. Huntley was advised to contact CAL EPA <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control - Permitting to <br /> confirm that cyanide destruction may be covered under Permit <br /> by Rule.l After leaving the waste treatment plant, we looked <br /> at the hazardous waste storage area. One 2 cubic yard bin <br /> was uncovered. We ended the inspection in the warehouses <br /> which stored miscellaneous equipment. <br /> We returned to Mr. Huntley's office and inspected and <br /> reviewed the Hazardous Materials Management Plan, the <br /> contingency plan, emergency preparedness plan, hazardous <br /> waste manifests, the biennial report and personnel training <br /> records. The employee training records were complete, well <br /> organized, and job specific. A list of facility permits from <br /> various regulatory agencies are attached to this report. <br /> No viola ions were noted after reviewing the above referenced <br /> records. <br /> IX. DISCUSSI N WITH MANAGEMENT: <br /> We began the discussion with Mr. Huntley regarding the noted <br /> violations. <br /> Mr. Hun ley was eager to learn what was required so <br /> complian e could easily be achieved. We informed Mr. Huntley <br /> that a opy of the report of violation and schedule for <br /> correcti n will be sent to him upon completion. <br /> 5 <br />
