OWNERLOP�TOR: <br /> Stockton Plating Incorporated has only one location which is in <br /> .50 <br /> central Stockto�. Stockton Plating is a A year old facility which <br /> occupies two city block' s and employs 100 people. <br /> This Corporation is one of the largest automobile bumper recyclers <br /> in northern California. This facility also has a "job shop" which <br /> machines, repairs and refinishes various metal components on a <br /> custom basis. ( Stockton Plating' s major operation is automobile <br /> repair and refinishing (plating) . <br /> IV. BACKGROUN : <br /> Previous to this hazardous waste inspection this facility has had <br /> only Ze <br /> inciden� recorded: an approximate 100 gallon spill of a <br /> copper solution to the soil. Spill remediation and evaluation <br /> included remov 1 of approximately 3 yards of soil and soil <br /> sampling. The soil sampling results were provided to Department of <br /> Health Service in August of 1987 , for evaluation and further <br /> action. <br />
