GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF FACILITY: <br /> This facility is structured to repair metal automobile bumpers, <br /> rubber bumpers, and custom parts repair and parts manufacturing. <br /> Initially the sed and often damaged bumper is received at the <br /> facility. The bumpers are repaired in an assembly line process <br /> which involves dent removal, grinding, sanding, polishing and <br /> cleaning. The bumper is then ready for plating. The bumper is <br /> plated with 3 4fferent metals: copper, nickel and chrome. Once <br /> the bumper has been plated, it is wrapped for shipment. <br /> Stockton Platin? also repairs rubber bumpers. One building is set <br /> up for the repail_r, sanding, cleaning and ultimately the painting of <br /> rubber bumpers. <br /> Stockton Plating also has a "job Shop" where custom parts are <br /> manufactured, r paired, cleaned and prepared for plating. The job <br /> shop is a meti i il shop with lathes, drill presses and all the <br /> necessary mac inery required for metal working and parts <br /> manufacturing. <br /> VI . HAZARDOUS JgASTE ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: <br /> The plating ope ation generates the majority of manifested waste at <br /> this site.
