HMHA#1. Supervisor shall monitor this removal and record and map what items are <br /> removed from each staked Site. <br /> Step No. 5 - Hazardous material handlers and Supervisors shall examine the entire <br /> Site for any other obvious or suspected hazardous materials or items containing such and <br /> remove items to HMHA#1 and record as above. <br /> Step No. 6 - Supervisor shall direct hazardous material handlers to remove any soil <br /> suspected of being actually contaminated with hazardous materials to HMHA#2. In <br /> addition, approximately one (1) cubic yard (or greater as appropriate) of surrounding soil <br /> shall be removed and placed in HMHA#2. These various piles shall be kept separate and <br /> the Supervisor shall record where the soil came from and what contaminant is suspected. <br /> Hazardous material handlers shall use either shovels and wheelbarrows or backhoe as <br /> needed. <br /> Step No. 7 - Ongoing. Supervisor shall identify all items in the HMHA#1 and <br /> dispose of as required by California law. Supervisor shall be responsible for producing <br /> proper paperwork including manifests documenting such proper disposal. Any unknown <br /> materials shall be tested to determine what the material is and will be disposed of properly <br /> as allowed under California law. Supervisor shall similarly handle any contaminated soil <br /> in HMHA#2. <br /> Step No. 8 - Laborers and operator of frontend loader shall remove all surface <br /> t <br /> trash/non-heerd ou matterials ani, 1Qad t m :into t ;remov 1 trailers. s)the ars <br /> becomefull, tractor drivers will remove trailers to Subcontractor�( chedule ) salvag/ <br /> facility for sorting and salvage or disposal. Any hazardous materials discovered at <br /> subcontractor's facility shall be separated out and disposed of as per California law. During <br /> the removal by laborers, Supervisor and hazardous materials handlers shall monitor and <br /> inspect the operation for discovery of additional hazardous materials.
