Summary Regional Water Board staff conditionally concur with the Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan provided Ripon Farm Service include the following measures: • When obtaining samples from the deep wells, in addition to having field parameters stabilized, the water surface elevation shall be comparable to pre-purge elevations. • Installation of all monitoring wells shall be conducted to the satisfaction of San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. • Low flow sampling techniques used for the off-site shallow wells shall be comparable to those used for sampling the on-site shallow monitoring wells, to the extent practicable. According to the schedule proposed in the Work Plan, a summary report could be prepared about six weeks after the drilling is completed. Allowing for supplemental sampling and other delays, please provide the Monitoring Well Installation Report by 23 February 2007.
