If emergency medical information is not readily available, it can <br />be obtained from CHEMTREC, phone (800) 424-9300. <br />Proceed to the scene of the incident and establish the Company's <br />command post. <br />It should be either part of the local Incident Commander's command <br />post or in proximity to it. <br />Establish contact with the local Incident Commander and inform of <br />arrangements made by UPRR to respond to the emergency and its plans <br />to mitigate the emergency. <br />Notify next of kin in the event of death or serious injury to Company <br />employees. <br />Immediately respond to the accident scene when an accident involving <br />hazardous materials closes the yard or main line entering the yard. <br />Act as the Company's Incident Commander and perform the duties listed <br />under Superintendent above until relieved by higher authority. <br />Supervise efforts by terminal managers to ensure proper handling of the <br />emergency. <br />12 <br />
