N <br />1 <br />FEATHER RIVER CANYON <br />Immediately respond to all accidents involving hazardous materials. <br />Ensure that the Local Incident Commander is fully informed concerning: <br />a. The location of the emergency. <br />b. Identification of the rail cars. <br />C. Identification of the types and quantities of hazardous materials. <br />Provide the Local Incident Commander with a copy of the emergency <br />response information for all hazardous materials shipment involved in <br />the accident. <br />a. Determine if any Company employees have been injured and <br />arrange for their medical treatment. <br />Ensure that all road crossings are accessible to emergency vehicles. <br />Assists in the accident investigation. <br />Receive the initial report of a hazardous materials emergency from <br />terminal employees. <br />Initiate the emergency notification process in accordance with the <br />terminal's emergency plan. <br />Coordinate the rebuilding of damaged track by: <br />a. Estimating damage to track. <br />b. Ordering required track materials. <br />C. Assists in the accident investigation. <br />13 <br />
