TH <br />Enclosed, pleas find the response to your findings in a Hazardous Waste <br />Program inspecion on January 24, 2012. 1 have listed the findings below, and <br />included documentation of the corrective action taken in each instance. <br />Item 112: Contingency Plan not current. Included is a copy of our HMBP filing <br />from CERS. Included with the hazardous material inventory are our routine <br />hazardous waste streams, (used oil and lead —acid batteries). As our operation's <br />most significant hazardous waste stream is used oil (221), we will be <br />incorporating they response elements from our SPCC Plan (uploaded to CERS) in <br />the LQG Continency Plan. We believe that this meets the requirements set <br />forth by California Environmental Protection Agency in their guidance documents. <br />Items 122, 123 and 124: Manifest record keeping and retention requirements. <br />Included here is copy of our self reporting letter to Department of Toxic <br />Substances Con rol, Generator Information Services Section, with the TSD <br />copies of the ma ifests in question attached. <br />Item 301: Bucket of oily waste outside Maintenance of Way welding gas storage <br />cabinet. The bu ket was emptied in the used oil collection bin at the Waste <br />Water Treatmen Plant and the contaminated soil was excavated and placed in <br />the oily debris ro 11 -off bin at the Locomotive Shop.
