The r covered oils are accumulated in the Used Oil <br />Storage ank (TNKO-0295) for shipment to the approved <br />used oil r cycling facility. At pump station on the western <br />fenceline f the WWTP is used to drain used oil filters and <br />accumuat other used oils from other operations. These <br />used oils re also pumped into TNKO-0295. <br />Activities <br />Industria waste water is continuously processed for free oil <br />Desc: <br />and solids in the Primary Clarifier. The water is then put into <br />storage in the 88,000 gal Retention Tank (TNKS-0056). <br />Water fro TNKS-0056 is batch treated and discharged on <br />an "as-ne ded" basis. The batch treatment process has a <br />clarifier fo emulsified oil removal and a dissolved air <br />flotation u it. Cationic and anionic polynmers are used, as <br />needed, t enhance the flotation of the waste. Sludge <br />accumulat d in TNKO-0294 is properly disposed of. Used oil <br />is transfer ed from Tank TNKO-0295 into a tank truck and <br />hauled off- ite for recycling. Flow from the load zone area is <br />back into t e local topographic lows or into the Area Sump <br />of the WW P. <br />Access <br />Enter the and on East 8th Street. The WWTP is located 300 yards south of the <br />diesel shop <br />Flow Desc: <br />Most of th yard surface runoff is contained within the yard <br />limits. Flow within the area of the separation plant is <br />directed ba k to the oil trap for recycling. Flow at AST -6, <br />retired Dies I Storage is directed to the oil/water separator <br />for recyclin . The drains in the containment around Tank <br />No. 6 are n rmally closed.
