EIGHTH ST., STOCKTON CA <br />MARCH 2, 2009 <br />A routine inspection was conducted on February 25, 2009 and a violation checklist <br />was received by ohn Thomas. <br />NOTICE OF VIOLATION: <br />#3. HSC, section 25244.21 – Failed to retain current (SB 14) review and plan. Repeat <br />violation. <br />This facility did not have a copy of the Waste Minimization Plan onsite. For more <br />information regarding this requirement go to: <br />htti)://www.dtsc.c.gov/PollutionPrevention/SB14/ui)load/sbl4-guidance-manual.pdf <br />Provide a copy of the plan and retain onsite for reference. Correct by 04/02/09. <br />#10. CCR, secti�n 66262.11 – Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. <br />Repeat violation. <br />Batteries located ext to signal shop and batteries located next to universal waste storage <br />bin appeared to be used. Also paint cans located in an over pack barrel in the waste water <br />treatment area. Make a hazardous waste determination by either providing a copy of a <br />hazardous waste disposal receipts or provide copies of analytical test results for the items <br />listed above that i dicate non -hazardous waste criteria. Correct by 04/02/09. <br /># 12. CCR, sectio 66265.31 — Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a HW. <br />Repeat violation. <br />A spill of waste it was found on the asphalt pad near the waste oil tank in the waste <br />water treatment ama. Maintain this area so that spills of hazardous wastes are minimized <br />'to release to the environment. Provide documentation that the source of the waste oil <br />spill has been elirninated or contained. Correct immediately. <br />#33. CCR, secti n 66266.130 (c) – Failed to keep container of "drained used oil and <br />gasoline filters" c sed and label container with the initial date of accumulation. Repeat <br />violation. ' <br />A fifty five gallon drum container located near the used oil collection bin outside o€ -the <br />waste water treatment area. The container was labeled as "drained used oil and fuel <br />filters" but did nol have an initial date of accumulation labeled on it. Also the container <br />was not kept closed because the ring around the lid was not secured. Provide <br />documentation tha this violation has been corrected.
