The tank <br />covered oils are accumulated in the Used Oil <br />Storage (TNKO-0295) for shipment to the approved <br />used oil recycling facility. At pump station on the western <br />fenceline of the WWTP is used to drain used oil filters and <br />accumuate other used oils from other operations. These <br />used oils are also pumped into TNKO-0295. <br />Activities Industrial waste water is continuousiy processed for free oil <br />Desc: and solid in the Primary Clarifier. The water is then put into <br />storage it the 88,000 gal Retention Tank (TNKS-0056). <br />Water fro TNKS-0056 is batch treated and discharged on <br />an "as -needed" basis. The batch treatment process has a <br />clarifier for emulsified oil removal and a dissolved air <br />flotation unit. Cationic and anionic polynmers are used, as <br />needed, t6 enhance the flotation of the waste. Sludge <br />accumula ed in TNKO-0294 is properly disposed of. Used oil <br />is transfe red from Tank TNKO-0295 into a tank truck and <br />hauled o site for recycling. Flow from the load zone area is <br />back into he local topographic lows or into the Area Sump <br />of the WVVTP. <br />Access Enter the lYard on East 8th Street. The WWTP is located 300 yards south of the <br />diesel sho . <br />Flow Desc: Most of the yard surface runoff is contained within the yard <br />limits. FlZn <br />withithe area of the separation plant is <br />directed <br />k to the oil trap for recycling. Flow at AST -6, <br />retired Di <br />el Storage is directed to the oil/water separator <br />for recycli <br />g. The drains in the containment around Tank <br />No. 6 are <br />ormally closed.
