Obtain discharge requirements from the California <br /> Regional water Quality Control Board, Central Valley <br /> Region, prior to initiation of the approved use. <br /> (Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, Article 5, <br /> Section 13280) <br /> d. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the <br /> chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and nitrates prior <br /> to initiation of the approved use. Samples are to be <br /> taken and run by a State-approved lab. (Development <br /> Title Section 9-115.7) <br /> 4. BUILDING INSPECTION DIVISION <br /> a. A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division <br /> prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth <br /> material: <br /> (1) A grading plan shall contain the information listed <br /> in the U.B.C. , Appendix, Chapter 70, Section <br /> 7006 (l) . <br /> (2) The grading plan shall include complete drainage <br /> details and elevations of the adjacent parcels. <br /> Retaining wall details shall be submitted where <br /> applicable. <br /> (3) Grading in excess of 5, 000 cubic yards shall comply <br /> with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading <br /> Requirements. " <br /> (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be <br /> incorporated in the grading plans. <br /> (5) All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a <br /> foundation inspection. <br /> (6) All grading permits are subject to approval by the <br /> other departments. <br /> (7) All grading authorized by the permit shall be <br /> approved prior to issuance of any building permits <br /> or beginning of any construction. <br /> 5. REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> a. The applicant shall secure Waste Discharge Requirements <br /> or a waiver, as appropriate, from the Board prior to <br /> initiation of the approved use. <br />
