Park Street has been approved by San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (EHD). The plan is a proposal to perform dual phase extraction
(DPE) remediation of soil and ground water contamination due to unauthorized
releases from the UST which was located on the property.
EHD has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with California
Health & Safety Code Chapter 6.7, Section 25299.37 and California Code of
Regulations Corrective Action Requirements, and that the resultant work will not create
significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from
cleanup of the contamination.
The remediation plan is available for public review at EHD, 1868 E. Hazelton Ave.,
Stockton, during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and the State Water
Resources Control Board's (Water Board) GeoTracker website. If no comments
are received by July 16, 2012, the plan will be implemented.
Questions regarding the specific site concerns or procedures should be directed to
Harlin Knoll, Senior REHS, at (209) 468-3442 or sent in writing to him at: EHD,1868 E.
Hazelton Ave, Stockton, CA. 95205.
