To install 3 additional dual phase extraction (DPE) wells in the source area on-site. Soil <br /> samples will be collected every 5 feet during drilling and a limited amount of selected <br /> samples will be sent to CDPH-certified laboratory for analyses. <br /> 2. After drilling the pilot borings to a total depth of 40 feet bgs, 4-inch diameter PVC will be <br /> installed. The PVC will have slotted well casing from 15-40 feet bgs with blank casing <br /> from 15 feet to surface <br /> 3. The three additional DPE wells, existing DPE-1, and existing MW-18 and MW-19 will be <br /> utilized for the DPE remediation system. <br /> 4. After installation of the additional wells, the trenching and plumbing completed to the <br /> remediation unit , and all required Permits secured, the system will be ready for start-up. <br /> System monitoring must be conducted. This will consist of short interval (daily) <br /> monitoring, followed by weekly monitoring, and finally long interval monthly monitoring. <br /> 5. A remediation well and system installation report will be prepared and submitted to the <br /> EHD, the CVRWQCB, and uploaded to the SWRCB GeoTracker website. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. A DPE well installation permit application and fees must be submitted to the EHD <br /> immediately. The remedial well installations must be completed within 30 days of the <br /> EHD permit issuance and DPE startup must began within 90 days thereafter. Other <br /> agency (i.e. City of Stockton, San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District) <br /> permitting must begin immediately to avoid untimely delays. <br /> 2. This Site has been under investigation for over 20 years. No active <br /> remediation has been conducted to date with the exception of a 5 day DPE feasibility <br />
