The plan is a proposal for mitigation (soil vapor extraction and groundwater
extraction, treatment, and discharge to sanitary sewer) of hazardous substances that
have contaminated the site due to an unauthorized release associated with the USTs that
were formerly located on the property.
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department-Local Oversight Program has
made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with Local, State, and
Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not create significant adverse
environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from cleanup of the
contamination.
The corrective action plan is available for public review at the EHD, 600 E. Main Street,
Stockton, California, during normal working hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m). If a written
request by any member of the public is not received at the EHD by 5:00 p.m.
Monday, November 22, 2010, the tentative decision shall become final on that date
and time.
All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to "San Joaquin County EHD-LOP"
at 600 E. Main Street Stockton, 95202. Questions regarding the specific site
concerns or procedures should be directed to Michael Infurna, Senior Registered
Environmental Health Specialist, at (209) 468-3454 during normal working hours.
Dated: October 22, 2010
By: Donna Heran, Director
Environmental Health Department
Site posted: 6244
