FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> r <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br /> Registered Geologist Procedures for well installations, well development and aquifer pump test <br /> procedures are described below <br /> 4 1 DRILLING AND SAMPLING <br /> A soil boring for installation of a ground water extraction well will be advanced to a depth of 45 feet <br /> bsg utilizing a truck-mounted, hollow-stem drill ng and 10-Inch diameter hollow-stem augers, two <br /> soil borings for installation of SVE wells will be advanced to depths of 30 feet bsg utilizing 10-inch <br /> diameter hollow-stem augers, one soil boring for installation of a IAS well will be advanced to 40 <br /> feet bsg utilizing 8-inch diameter hollow-stem augers, two soil borings for Installation of ground <br /> water monitoring wells will be advanced to depths of 45 feet bsg utilizing 8-Inch diameter hollow- <br /> stem augers Soil cuttings and rinseate generated during drilling activities will be containerized in <br /> properly labeled DOT-approved 55-gallon drums, and stored on-site in an area lacking public access <br /> Disposal alternatives for rinseate and stockpiled soil will be selected based on results of a laboratory <br /> analysis <br /> Soil samples will be collected at five-foot intervals, beginning at a depth of 5 feet bsg for logging <br /> purposes, at least one soil sample per every 15 linear feet will be analyzed by a State of California <br /> Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents <br /> • TPH-g in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030, <br /> • BTEX compounds and MTBE in accordance with EPA Method 8020, <br /> • Fuel oxygenated compounds including MTBE, TAME, di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE) and tertiary butanol (TBA) by EPA Method 8260 Modified, and <br /> • 1,2-Dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) and ethylene dibromide (EDB) by EPA method 8260 <br /> Modified <br /> • Total lead by EPA Method 7420 <br /> Laboratory reports for soil analysis, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations <br /> Selected soil samples will be analyzed by a microbiological laboratory for microbial enumeration <br /> and physicochemical characteristics, selected soil samples may also be analyzed for intrinsic <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
