3164 Gold Camp Drive <br /> Suite 200 <br /> Rancho Cordova,CA 95670-6021 <br /> IEnvivonQnental U S A <br /> Consultants,One 9161638-2085 <br /> FAX 9161638-8385 <br /> April 6, 2001 <br /> Ms Margaret Lagorio <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services J <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 L3 <br /> c� <br /> Subject Status Report, First Quarter 2001 <br /> Atlantic Richfield Company Facility No 6100 <br /> 25775 Patterson Pass Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Delta Project No D000-340 <br /> Dear Ms Lagono <br /> On behalf of Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), Delta Environmental Consultants, <br /> Inc (Delta) has prepared this status report to summarize work activities conducted at <br /> ARCO Facility No 6100, located at 25775 Patterson Pass Road, Tracy, California <br /> (Figure 1) during the first quarter 2001 <br /> On January 10, 2001, a meeting was held with representatives of the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board and the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division to discuss the additional soil and groundwater <br /> investigation conducted in September and October 2000, and subsequent monitoring and <br /> data collection activities that occurred following the installation of monitoring well <br /> MW-1 Based on the findings of the investigation and general information presented <br /> during the meeting, all parties present concluded that further assessment is warranted <br /> The investigation should be performed on- and off-site to better characterize the <br /> hydrogeology beneath and adjacent to the site and to assess the extent of liquid-phase <br /> hydrocarbons It was also agreed that prior to developing a scope of work for additional <br /> assessment, specific site activities should be conducted, and the results used to assist in <br /> preparing the scope of work The additional activities identified during the meeting <br /> include <br /> • continue to remove free phase product from MW-1 and monitor the product <br /> thickness, <br /> • evacuate groundwater from MW-I and monitor the rate of recharge and recovery, <br /> • collect water samples from selected vapor extraction wells that contain <br /> rechargeable groundwater, <br /> Providing a Competitive Edge <br />
