STI 7A 7 -5 3330 Cameron Park Drive, Ste 550 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL INC Cameron Park California 95682 <br /> (530)676-6004-Fax (530)676-6005 <br /> May 7, 2004 <br /> Q 2p0� Project No U6100-16-9 <br /> ENV,` M�M15�RV10ES <br /> Mr Fred Cruz pER <br /> San Joaquin Valley <br /> Air Pollution Control District <br /> 230 Kiernan Avenue, Suite 130 <br /> Modesto, California 95356-9321 <br /> Re Source Test Report <br /> Authority to Construct (N-5026-1-0 & N-5026-2-0) <br /> ARCO Station No 6100 <br /> 25775 South Patterson Pass <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Dear Mr Cruz <br /> • Stratus Environmental, Inc (Stratus) has prepared this letter, on behalf of Atlantic <br /> Richfield Company (ARCO- a BP Affiliated Company), to present the results of source <br /> testing conducted during start-up of two King, Buck & Associates, Inc , 200 cubic feet <br /> per minute (cfm) soil vapor extraction (SVE) systems at ARCO Station No 6100, located <br /> at 25775 South Patterson Pass, Tracy, California The two SVE systems are identified as <br /> Unit 1 with a serial number of 9321 and Unit 2 with a serial number of 9230 <br /> Both of the SVE systems are Model MMC-6AE electric catalytic oxidizers with 7 5 <br /> horsepower (hp) blowers, and were started on March 9, 2004, as per requirements <br /> specified in the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) Authority <br /> to Construct (ATC) dated December 23, 2003 (Permit Nos N-5026-1-0 & N-5026-2-0) <br /> The SVE systems were shutdown on March 9, 2004, after collecting compliance air <br /> samples in the presence of SJVAPCD personnel Upon receipt of the analytical results of <br /> air samples collected on March 9, 2004, and complying with SJVAPCD ATC <br /> requirements, the systems was re-started for continuous operation on March 15, 2004 <br /> The SVE systems' operations were initiated by extracting petroleum hydrocarbon laden <br /> soil vapors from wells VW-6, VW-8, VW-9, & MW-9 using Unit 1, and from wells <br /> VW-1, VW-14, MW-3, & MW-7 using Unit 2 Soil vapors were extracted using the 7 5 <br /> hp blowers and abated in the respective catalytic oxidizers prior to discharge to the <br /> atmosphere Figure 2 piesents the locations of the extraction wells, remediation system <br /> enclosure, and othei pertinent site features A piocess flow diagram for the SVE systems <br /> is illustrated in Figure 3 <br /> 1' 1311 aicc,Im i hS+GI(1{lll�tpi+if.
