Oil Discharge Response Plan <br /> Page 3 <br /> 4. Apply absorbent materials to pick up remaining liquid after bulk liquid has <br /> been picked up. DO NOT step on spilled material. Pick up wet material <br /> with a shovel and place in separate waste container. DO NOT mix with bulk <br /> liquid. <br /> 5. Clean up spill control equipment and containers. Be sure to replace all <br /> equipment in its proper location. Restock any absorbents used to clean up <br /> spill. <br /> 6. Carefully wash all spilled product from skin and clothing using soap. <br /> Change clothes if necessary to avoid further contact with product. <br /> 7. Disposal of spilled product will be off site, and must be arranged through the <br /> Operation Manager. <br /> A Spill Report shall be filled out, including a description of the event. A Spill <br /> Report form is available in Appendix D. <br /> Commercial Spill Response <br /> Martin-Brower has the manpower and knowledge necessary to effectively <br /> contain and clean up 100 gallons of material. If a spill larger than 100 gallons <br /> should occur, a commercial waste collector with required manpower and <br /> equipment will be called in to assist with containment and cleanup operation. <br /> The ESC is responsible for determining whether an outside contractor is required <br /> for a spill cleanup.
