The following are Repeat Violations.. <br /> 20/50,27,52, and the follo ing is a Minor Violations - Notice to Comply.. #7,23 <br /> 7. Metal fines generated f om the lathes and sanders are being recycled as scrap metal without first <br /> determining particle size o hazardous properties. <br /> -- Any person who genera es a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. <br /> * Immediately make:asht:a ardous waste determination for the metal fines, and manage it according the <br /> Title 22 hazardous wegulations. Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous <br /> waste if the metal is deter ined to be a hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining ow this waste was managed by July 6, 2011. <br /> 20 & 50. (Repeat) Obsery d two 55-gallon drums of used oil with blank hazardous waste labels. <br /> -- All hazardous waste co tainers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous aste" <br /> 2. name and address of gE nerator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> * Immediately label these ontainers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since these c ntainers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a <br /> licensed hazardous waste auler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the <br /> manifest to the EHD by Jul 6, 2011. <br /> 23. Observed one 55-gallo drum of used oil filters with accumulation start date of April 9, 2008. <br /> -- Facilities that generate u to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. <br /> * Immediately recycle thes filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the <br /> EHD by July 6, 2011. <br /> 27.
