will be accomplished by opening select dual phase extraction wells to the <br /> atmosphere. <br /> Ground Water and Soil Vapor Monitoring Program <br /> The ground water and soil vapor monitoring program will be conducted <br /> to: <br /> • Monitor the ground water plume margin to confirm plume control <br /> as a result of ground water extraction; <br /> • Document attainment of treatment objectives for capture and <br /> treatment of the A-zone ground water VOC plume; and, <br /> • Document vadose zone soil remediation as a result of soil vapor <br /> extraction. <br /> The methods for implementing this monitoring program are described in <br /> the following subsections. Appendix C includes the laboratory quality <br /> assurance/quality control procedures for laboratory analysis of samples <br /> collected for the monitoring program. <br /> Ground Water Monitoring <br /> Ground water monitoring will be conducted on a quarterly basis. Ground <br /> water monitoring will include quarterly ground water sampling and <br /> water level monitoring at the following wells: <br /> • Monitoring Wells Outside the Current Limits of the VOC Plume: <br /> MW-7A, MW-11A, MW-12A, MW-12B, and MW-14A; and, <br /> • 'Monitoring Wells within the Current Limits of the VOC Plume: <br /> TW-01, TW-2B, PZ-10, and TW-03. <br /> Ground water samples will be collected at each monitoring well listed <br /> above and analyzed for Total VOCs by EPA Method 8240 and Total <br /> Petroleum Hydrocarbons by EPA Method 8015 modified. Ground water <br /> elevations will be measured at each of these wells. Floating product <br /> measurements will be collected at each source area well (wells TW-01, <br /> TW-2B, PZ10, TW-03). <br /> 6-3 <br />
