20 December 2001 <br /> • AGE-NC Project No 95-0128 <br /> Page 3 of 9 <br /> I designed to adsorb hydrocarbons and fuel additives(TPH-g,TPH-d,BTEX compounds and MTBE) <br /> Brass sampling ports were installed in the influent line,between the media vessels and in the effluent <br /> line to sample for potential media break through and to obtain final discharge samples A F-2000 <br /> (model RT) Blue-White Industnes flow meter was installed in the effluent line to continuously <br /> measure and display the effluent flow rate and to continuously measure and display the total flow <br />' In September 2001, a dedicated electrical service was installed on the building at the site (meter <br /> service,a sub-panel was installed within the remediation enclosure and an electrical control treatment <br /> system panel was installed adjacent the vessels Electrical wiring from the ground water extraction <br />' pump, process pump and holding tank float controls were connected from the through Class I <br /> electrical connectors/unction boxes and electrical conduit to the electrical control panel Electrical <br /> PumpTec controller box was installed in the electrical control panel for control measures of extraction <br /> well pump The pump control was supplied by an amperage sensing/time control switch This switch <br /> detects any decreases in amperage when water level drops below the impeller intake from the <br /> IGrundfos pump <br /> • <br /> 23 OFF-SITE DISCHARGE PIPE-LINE INSTALLATION <br /> In September 2001, a dedicated discharge pipeline was constructed from the western section of the <br /> treatment enclosure to a sewer clean-out located directly west of the building on the site The 1-inch <br /> PVC line was installed above ground within a 2-inch PVC conduit A 4-inch diameter steel riser was <br /> utilized to discharge the waste water to the City of Stockton under permit The discharge piping <br /> system layout is depicted in Figure 5 <br />' 2 4 GROUND WATER PUMPING FROM EW-I <br /> On 12 October 2001,ground waterpumping(interim remediation)was initiated from extraction well <br />' EW-1 The extraction flow rate was measure at an average 4 GPM,operating intermittently,24 hours <br /> a day, and piped directly into the ground water treatment system Approximately 126,500 gallons <br /> were extracted from EW-I during the first thirty days of operation <br />' Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental Inc <br /> I <br />
