Photo research
was performed at Pacific Aerial Survey (PAS) , located in Oakland,
(B California. Three black and white photos of the site and vicinity
were available at the PAS library. The 1966 photo revealed that
the site and vicinity were primarily used for agriculture or were
non-developed. The 1985 photo reveal that the site and vicinity
are similar to currently existing conditions.
On May 29, 1991, TMC reviewed available environmentally-related
files at the SJCPHS. Information in theso files reveal that the
ell capacities.tanks at the site each have 12,000-gallon capacities. Two
tanks formerly contained gasoline motor fuel, and one tank
contained diesel fuel. There was no indication in these files of
other tanks existing at the site.
An Unauthorized Discharge Report for the site was found in the
SJCPHS files. It revealed that in May, 1987, one of the gasoline
tanks and the diesel tank failed a tank precision tank test.
Documentation also reveals the diesel tank again failed a precision
tank test in November 16 1989,
, Quantities of fuer materials
discharged is not indicated in these files.
TMC also reviewed the SJCPHS's Underground Tank Program - UAR site
List, revised March 4, 1991.
