The Melissa Straten <br /> proposed investigation is described in Attachment 2, the Phase 11 Field Investigation <br /> Phone: <br /> Work Plan(Work Plan), which was conditionally approved by the Central Valley 510-596-9619 <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) in their letter dated February 19, <br /> 2009 (Attachment 3). Separate applications are <br /> submitted for the different drillers and/or techniques that will be used. Our ref: <br /> RC000709.0601.00025 <br /> 1. Nineteen (19) CPT/LIF borings will be drilled by Fugro Consultants to <br /> approximately 30 feet below ground surface (bgs). Locations are shown <br /> on Figure 4 of the Work Plan. Depending on the data obtained from <br /> these 19 borings, four additional borings may be drilled at locations to be <br /> determined. ARCADIS proposes starting this phase of work on <br /> August 31, 2009. <br /> 2. Twenty-four(24)CPT/HydroPunchTM locations will be drilled to <br /> approximately 30 feet bgs by Gregg Drilling and Testing Inc. Locations are <br /> shown on Figure 4 of the Work Plan. Two additional locations may be drilled <br /> and sampled based on data collected from the initial 24 locations. ARCADIS <br /> proposes starting this phase of work on September 14, 2009. <br /> Gregg Drilling and Testing Inc. will also install up to five monitoring wells, as <br /> described in Section 2.3 of the Work Plan.
