Yosemite, Manteca <br /> Tank Entry Permit Application Supplemental Information <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> As per our telephone conversation on Wednesday, February 24, 1999, please find the <br /> supplemental information I promised you to complete the original permit submittal package <br /> Federal Expressed to you on Thursday, February 18, 1999 for this site and 16 E. Harding in <br /> Stockton. The submittal for this information is attached. <br /> In addition to this information I omitted the discussion and procedures for exposing and <br /> inspecting the product lines at this site. The scope and procedures are as follows: <br /> 1. Perform precision product line test on all lines prior to exposure. <br /> 2. Sawcut, break and remove all concrete/asphalt over the top of product lines. <br /> 3. Pull turbine check valves for all three (3) products and drain. Blow lines clear with <br /> nitrogen. <br /> 4. Hand excavate all lines from dispensers to tank field. <br /> 5. Notify agency to inspect pipe per the following: <br /> "Perform nitrogen pressure test on all product piping from dispenser point to termination <br /> at pump. Test will be done with nitrogen at 1.5 times operating pressure, approximately <br /> 45 psi. Pressure can be increased at agency request up to 75 psi. Test pressures to <br /> remain on all piping for a minimum of 1 hour. <br /> 6. Soap-test all joints under agency supervision. <br /> 7. Provide a third party Engineer to inspect pipe and report on product piping conditions. <br /> Submit third party report to San Joaquin County Environmental Health. Third party <br /> Engineer will be Kerri M. Howell of M.J. Schiff& Associates. Credentials are attached. <br />
