(Blaine Tech), to describe groundwater monitoring and sampling that
was performed at the subject.site on March 8, 1995.
During their March site visit Blaine Tech gauged and sampled all three site-related monitoring
wells. The measured groundwater elevations at each well were the highest measured in nearly five
years. The measured direction of groundwater flow was generally toward the south. Monitoring
wells MW-4A, MW-10, and MW-11 were sampled and analyzed for the presence of TPHGas and
BTEX. Except for 0.61 ppb xylenes at MW-4A, there were no detectable concentrations_ of
dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons measured at any of the three wells.
Despite the significant increase in groundwater elevation beneath the site, the most recent
groundwater data continues to support a decision to close the case. All parties involved would like
this case closed soon.
If you have any questions or comments, I can be reached at(510) 842-8695.
Sincerely,
,Cid ;_ /
Brett L.
