(GTI), to describe groundwater monitoring and
sampling that was performed at the subject site on September 2, 1994.
During GTI's August site visit all tliree site-related monitoring wells were gauged and sampled.
The measured direction of groundwater flow was generally toward the east-northeast. Monitoring
wells MW-4A,MW-10, and MW-11 were sampled and analyzed for the presence of TPHGas and
BTEX. There were no detectable concentrations of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons measured at
any of the three wells.
The site was referred to the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board for case closure
in your letter dated,April 22, 1994. All site-related information has been provided to the Regional
Board to facilitate their review for, case closure. The groundwater data continues to support a
decision to close the case however, no decision has been issued by the Regional Board:'All parties
involved would like to have this issue settled. Your assistance in this regard would ibe greatly
appreciated.
If you have any questions or comments, I can be reached at(510) 842-8695.
Sincerely,
/t4N . /
Brett L.
