CHRONOLOGY <br /> CHEVRON STATION # 9-6465 <br /> 5608 NORTH PERSHING AVENUE <br /> STOCKTON CA <br /> 1986 <br /> 03-26-86 PHS/EHD makes site inspection this date. There are 3-10,000 gallon fuel tanks, a 1,000 <br /> gallon waste oil tank and a 75 gallon cement lined waste oil sum on the site. Inspection <br /> g g P1 <br /> report requests the waste oil sump be pumped out and filled with cement. <br /> 08-18-86 PHS/EHD responds to a caII from the Fire Dept.: fuel product is surfacing and running into <br /> the street. Leak appears to be from a product line approx. one foot south of the western <br /> dispenser island and one foot west of the west island in the main driveway. Excavation <br /> revealed pipes made�of galvanized metal Iying on clay soil. No leaking pipes noted <br /> immediately and workers will continue to excavate until the leak is found. Notice to abate <br /> is issued requiring an investigation to determine the extent of the contamination. <br /> 08-20-86 PHS/EHD makes site visit. All three product lines approx. one foot south of the western <br /> 3 <br /> dispenser islands were found to be leaking and were still leaking at time of site visit. <br /> i <br /> 08-21-86 PHS/EHD sends RP a letter requesting a WP to investigate the extent of the contamination. ' <br /> 09-15-86 PHS/EHD visits site. All piping is being replaced with new single wall fiberglass piping. <br /> I <br /> 08-27-86 PHS/EHD files a UAR for the product piping release. The piping was repaired and the fuel <br /> tanks on-site precision tested and passed. i <br /> 10-00-86 Three monitoring wells installed this date to a total depth of approximately 32'BGS. No soil ' <br /> samples were obtained from any of these wells. Slight odors were noted during the drilling <br /> of MW#2,which was located by the area where the piping joins the tank pit. Depth to water <br /> was approximately 24.4' BGS. <br /> 10-06-86 Monitoring wells MW#1,MW#2 and MW#3 sampled this date. Groundwater flow was to <br /> the north northeast. <br /> MW#1 showed TPH as gasoline and BTX at 1,700 ppb, 160 ppb, 170 ppb, and 150 ppb, <br /> respectively. <br /> MW#2 showed TPH,as gasoline and BTX at 650 ppb, 76 ppb, 60 ppb, and 59 ppb, <br /> respectively. <br /> MW#3 showed TPH,as gasoline and BTX at 410 ppb, 3.0 ppb, 4.0 ppb, and 4.0 ppb, <br /> respectively. <br /> 1987 <br /> 12-30-87 PHS/EHD reviews soil vapor survey. RP will be submitting WP for the installation of <br /> additional MWs at the site. <br /> 1988 <br /> 01-20-88 Monitoring wells MW#4, MW#5, MW#6 and MW#7 installed this date to a total depth of <br />
