Additionally AGE proposes to transport and
dispose of the remaining impacted stockpiled soil, designated as Stockpile Nos. 1, 2, and 4, at an
appropriate landfill facility.
STOCKPILE NO. 3
Stockpile No. 3 is approximately 120 cubic yards in volume and is located north of the fonner UST
No. 3 location. On 13 January 1999, at the time of the UST removal, one soil sample SP-3 was
collected from the stockpile. As presented in the AGE-prepared Preliminary Site Assessment Work
Plan, analytical results indicate relatively low concentrations of total xylenes and methyl tert-butyl
ether(MTBE) in sample SP-3.
The scope of work will include the collection of two soil samples from Stockpile No. 3. All samples
will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified laboratory
for the following constituents:
• Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline and diesel in accordance with EPA
Method 8015 Modified/5030;
4005 North Wilson Way, Stockton, California 95205
Telephone (209)467-1006 FAX (209)467-1118
