The analyses will be conducted on a standard two week turn around <br /> basis in accordance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-specified holding times. <br /> 6" The samples will be analyzed for hazardous materials and petroleum products as listed below. <br /> 6.0 Matrix Analysis Method <br /> Soil[Water Elements Scan ]CAP 6010 <br /> Soil Water Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline EPA 8015m <br /> SoillWater Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Diesel EPA 8015m <br /> La Soil/Water Aromatic and Halogenated Volatile Organics EPA 8021B <br /> Soil/Water GC/MS Fuel Oxygenate Compounds EPA 8260B <br /> 1.0 <br /> 4.4 Investigation-Derived Waste Disposal <br /> Drill cuttings generated during this investigation will be contained for disposal in 208-liter (55- <br /> 16 <br /> gallon) drums, approved by the United Nations for transport of liquid and solid wastes. The <br /> drums will be stored at the site. The drums will be removed from the site for disposal within 21 <br /> 'rte days following receipt of the laboratory results. <br /> v <br /> Soil classified as non-hazardous will be sent to TPS Technologies, Inc., for rotary kiln thermal <br /> desorption at either their Oakland, California, or Adalanto, California, facility. Soil classified as <br /> hazardous will be sent to Chem Waste Management for disposal at their Class I Kettleman Hills, <br /> California, facility. The wastewater is expected to be profiled and transported for recycling at <br /> the Demenno Kerdoon facility in Compton, California. All water wastes generated during the <br /> r~• field activities will be contained in 208-liter (55-gallon) drums approved by the United Nations <br /> for transport of liquid and solid wastes. <br /> LA 4.5 Site Investigation Report <br /> IT will prepare a report presenting the results of the site investigation.
