1 SECTION 01700 <br /> 3 CONTRACT CLOSEOUT <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 PART 1: GENERAL <br /> 7 <br /> 6 1.01 DESCRIPTION <br /> 9 <br /> 10 This Section covers miscellaneous requirements for contract closeout. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 PART 2: MATERIALS <br /> 1 13 <br /> 14 2.01 CLEANING MATERIALS <br /> 1s <br /> ' 16 As recommended by the manufacturer of surface to be cleaned. <br /> 17 <br /> 19 PART 3: EXECUTION <br /> 19 <br /> zo 3.01 CLEANING <br /> 21 <br /> 22 A. Exterior Cleaning: Sweep paved surfaces; rake other surfaces or grounds. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 B. Final Cleaning: Remove all tools, equipment, surplus materials, and rubbish. Remove <br /> 25 grease, dirt, stains, foreign materials, and labels from interior and exterior finished surfaces. <br /> 26 Do any required waxing and polishing. At time of final inspection, project shall be <br /> 27 thoroughly clean and ready for use. This work shall be done at no extra cost to the Owner <br /> 28 and within the contract allowable time. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 3.02 PROJECT RECORD DRAWINGS <br /> 31 <br /> 32 A. Using colored ink, make changes on a set of clean prints of original tracings. Show all <br /> 33 changes and revisions to the original design that affect the permanent structures and will <br /> 34 exist in the completed work. Reference underground utilities to semipermanent or <br /> 35 permanent physical objects. Reference water, sewer, telephone, and electric lines to <br /> 36 corners of buildings. Include schematic diagrams for all electrical equipment with terminal <br /> 37 numbers shown. <br /> 38 <br /> ' 39 B. Keep record drawings current. Inspection will be made monthly. Certification by Contractor <br /> 40 of accuracy and completeness will be required on monthly submitted payment requisitions. <br /> 41 Project record drawings are the property of the Agency and shall be delivered to the <br /> 42 Engineer before closeout. <br /> 43 <br /> as 3.03 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION AND FINAL INSPECTION <br /> 45 <br /> 46 A. Submit written certification that project, or designated portion of project, is substantially <br /> 47 complete, and request, in writing, a final inspection. Engineer will make an inspection <br /> 48 within 10 days of receipt of request. <br /> 49 <br /> so B.
