Prior to all work of this section, carefully inspect the entire site and all objects ' <br /> 12 designated to be removed and to be preserved. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 2. Locate all existing utility lines and determine all requirements for disconnecting and ' <br /> 15 capping. <br /> 18 <br /> 17 3. Locate all existing active utility lines traversing the site and determine the requirements <br /> 18 for their protection. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 C. Clarification: <br /> 2122 , <br /> 1. The Drawings do not purport to show all objects existing on the site. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 2. Before commencing the work of this section, verify with the Engineer all objects to be ' <br /> 25 removed and all objects to be preserved. <br /> 28 <br /> 27 3.02 CLEARING AND GRUBBING <br /> 28 <br /> 29 A. Area to be Cleared & Grubbed: <br /> 30 <br /> 31 1. The Contractor shall restrict clearing and grubbing to the areas designated for new , <br /> 32 construction or adjustment of grades on the plans. Surrounding trees shall be <br /> 33 protected from damage. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 B. Grubbing: ' <br /> 36 <br /> 37 1, Remove all surface rocks and all stumps, roots, and other vegetation within <br /> 38 of construction. n the limits <br /> ' <br /> 39 <br /> 40 2.
