1 SECTION 02492 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 EROSION CONTROL <br /> 4 <br /> s <br /> 6 PART 1: GENERAL <br /> 7 <br /> e 1.01 DESCRIPTION <br /> s <br /> 10 This work of this Section consists of furnishing and installing erosion control as specified <br /> 11 herein and shall be applied on all newly constructed slopes of 1-1/2:1 to 4:1. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> 14 <br /> 15 A. Use adequate numbers of skilled workmen who are thoroughly trained and experienced in <br /> 16 the necessary crafts and who are completely familiar with the specified requirements and <br /> 17 the methods needed for proper performance of the work of this section. <br /> 19 <br /> 19 B. Planting materials shall meet or exceed the specifications of Federal, State, and County <br /> 20 laws requiring inspection for plant disease and insect control. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 1.03 SUBMITTALS <br /> ' 23 <br /> za A. Comply with pertinent provisions of Section 01300. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 B. Submit complete materials list of items proposed to be submitted under this section, <br /> 27 complete data on source and quality, and sufficient data to demonstrate compliance with <br /> 26 the specified requirements. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 PART 2: MATERIALS <br /> 32 <br /> 33 2.01 FERTILIZER <br /> 34 <br /> 35 A. Commercial fertilizer shall be ammonium phosphate (16-20-0) and contain a minimum of <br /> 36 16% nitrogen, 20 % available phosphoric acid, 0% water soluble potash, uniform in <br /> 37 composition, dry and free flowing, pelleted or granular. All fertilizer shall be delivered in <br /> 36 unbroken or unopened containers, labeled in accordance with applicable state regulations <br /> 39 and bearing the warranty of the producer for the grade furnished. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 B. Fertilizer shall be applied at a rate of 300 lbs/acre and shall be evenly incorporated into the <br /> 42 soil. It may be incorporated as part of seedbed preparation or with seeding operations <br /> 43 unless seed is broadcast. <br /> 44 <br /> as 2.02 SEED <br /> 46 <br /> 47 A.
