Anchor pins shall be 0.12 inch diameter or heavier galvanized wire or J-pins 10 inches long. <br /> 31 Staples shall be 0.09 inch diameter or greater. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 <br /> 34 PART 3: EXECUTION <br /> 35 <br /> 36 3.01 APPLICATION PROCEDURE <br /> 37 <br /> 38 A. General: Erosion control shall consist of surface preparation, seeding, fertilization, and <br /> 39 mulching. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 B. Surface Preparation: The surface to be protected shall be graded to a uniform surface, with <br /> 42 all rocks larger than six inches removed, except that a reasonable number of larger rocks <br /> 43 may remain, provided their location enhances the slope stability and does not prevent <br /> 44 proper seed growth. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 C. Seeding: After the graded surface has been accepted by the Engineer, it shall be seeded <br /> 47 and mulched. Seeding shall be done between August 15 and October 15.
