The bituminous binder shall meet all requirements of Caltrans Standard Specification <br /> 4 Section 94-1.02 including Table 1 for Type SS-1 slow setting anionic asphaltic emulsion. <br /> 5 Water shall be added in accordance with Caltrans Standard Specification Section 37-1.02. <br /> s <br /> 7 B. The screenings shall meet all requirements of Caltrans Standard Specification Sections <br /> 8 37-1.01 and 37-1.02 for the medium fine gradation (5/16-inch x Number 8). <br /> s <br /> 10 <br /> 11 PART 3: EXECUTION ' <br /> 12 <br /> 13 3.01 CLASS 2 AGGREGATE BASE <br /> 14 '15 Wherever indicated in these Specifications and/or on the Drawings, Class 2 aggregate base <br /> 18 shall be placed to the indicated depth. Application shall <br /> 35 conform to the requirements of Caltrans Standard Specification Sections 37-1.04, 37-1.05, <br /> 38 37-1.06 and 37-1.07. The penetration seal shall be applied no sooner than three months <br /> 37 after placement of the asphalt paving. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 3.05 PAVING SECTION <br /> 40 <br /> 41 The minimum paving section shall be 2 inches of asphaltic concrete over 6 inches of base , <br /> 42 rock on the Entrance Road.
