CMU shall be free from substances that will cause staining or pop-outs, and shall be fine, <br /> 19 even texture with straight and true edges. All units shall have been wet steam cured for <br /> 20 at least 18 hours and then air cured in covered storage for not less than 28 days before ' <br /> 21 delivery. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 C. All concrete blocks shall have a maximum moisture content per Table 1 of ASTM C90 for <br /> 37 mean relative humidity at the job site per the map in the appendix of ASTM C90 and the ' <br /> 38 linear shrinkage of the block as determined by ASTM C426. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 H. Concrete bar reinforcement in sizes No. 3 (3/8 inch) and larger shall be deformed steel bars <br /> 41 of the sizes and shapes indicated on the Drawings. The steel shall be newly rolled stock <br /> 42 of domestic manufacture, substantially free from mill scale, rust, dirt, grease, or other <br /> 43 foreign matter.
