Zinc coating shall be <br /> 3 in accordance with ASTM A525, and shall not be less than coating Class G90. <br /> 4 ,s 2.02 FASTENERS <br /> 6 <br /> 7 A. General , <br /> 8 <br /> 9 1. Type best suited for intended purposes. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 2. Use aluminum or stainless steel fasteners with aluminum. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 3. Use stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized steel fasteners with zinc-coated steel. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 4. Use only stainless steel fasteners with dissimilar metals. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 B. Material <br /> 18 <br /> 19 1. Aluminum Fastener Materials: Alloy 6061 or 5056. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 2. Stainless Steel Fastener Materials: Type 305. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 C. Fasteners for Securing Sheet metal to Concrete and Masonry shall be Fastway Extruded <br /> 24 Vinyl Anchors, Holub "Hi-Red" plastic screw anchors, "Star" plastic anchors, or equal <br /> 25 non-ferrous anchors, used with wood or sheet metal screws of specified type material; lead <br /> 26 anchors are not acceptable. <br /> 27 <br /> 26 D. Nails for Securing Sheet metal to Wood shall be the specified type material; barbed, <br /> 29 annular thread or screw type. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 2.03 SOLDER , <br /> 32 <br /> 33 A. Type and composition best suited for material being soldered: <br /> 34 <br /> 35 B. Composition Sn50 for galvanized metal. ' <br /> 36 <br /> 37 C.
